The Diploma of “Applied Environmental Sciences” will enable the students to aid in the prevention and control of environmental problems in science and research and enable the student to consult for production firms, engineering firms, management and for political authorities. Competency in this broad faculty will be achieved through a highly organized course that offers the possibility of particular specialization. Since its conception, the curriculum of the course is principally directed towards broad education in the physical sciences as well as the social sciences, especially since environmental concerns are complex and all spheres of science and industry require their solutions.
